  CD May 2007  ::  AuctionBase Version 2.21 is Released
KCM Software releases version 2.21 of its AuctionBase Benefit Auction Management software.  AuctionBase now supports installations on Windows Vista.
 
   
  CD March 2007  ::  AuctionBase Version 2.2 is Released
KCM Software releases version 2.2 of its AuctionBase Benefit Auction Management software.  The new release includes an improved installer, better looking forms for lower resolution displays, and a roll up of all previous updates.
 
In order to make the new installer immediately available to all our customers, new update CDs are being sent to all current customers as a free service.
 
   
  CD May 2006  ::  AuctionBase Version 2.1 is Released
KCM Software releases version 2.1 of its AuctionBase Benefit Auction Management software.  A number of enhancements have been made to its already great feature set, including full tracking and reporting of payment data.  Guests can checkout more than once, in case late purchases are made, and can use multiple payment methods each time.  Guest credits are now tracked and can be applied at checkout.  In addition, unpaid tickets can be charged at event checkout.  Check out receipts have been made more configurable, and item packaging has been made even simpler.  Though the changes are extensive, this is considered a maintenance release, so version 2.1 is offered to existing customers at no charge.  For more information on product features, click here
 
   
  January 2006  ::  AuctionTopics.com Website Launched
AuctionTopics.com offers free help for organizations wishing to hold benefit auctions and raffles,  Initially offering an online guide to holding a fundraising auction, the site will ultimately include a directory of service providers and community forums where users can share tips and advice for improving their auctions’ success.
 
   
  April 2005  ::  KCM Software Incorporated, AuctionBase Version 2.0 is Released
KCM Software, Inc. is established to further develop and market AuctionBase auction software.  KCM Software is incorporated with the release of AuctionBase version 2.0. The software, used to manage all aspects of benefit auctions and raffles, will be offered at half the cost of some current products, with free online support and no charge for ongoing maintenance.
 
   
  March 2004  ::  AuctionBase Version 2.0 is Beta Tested
With customizable reports and personalized letter writing added to its already rich feature set, a new version of AuctionBase is successfully tested at benefit auctions for Holy Trinity School and Elmonica School. Each event used the software to manage all aspects of their fundraisers, to great success.
 
   
  August 2003  ::  AuctionBase Adds Event Budgeting and Financial Tracking
AuctionBase now allows users to define a budget for their event, then track income and expenses against it. Detailed financial reports are available at the click of a button. Users will always know where their money is coming from and where it is going. Planning of future events is made simpler and more accurate.
 
   
  April 2003  ::  AuctionBase Adds support for Raffles
Recognizing that raffles and other types of games are common activities at fundraising auctions, support for these activities has been added to AuctionBase
. AuctionBase 1.1 allows the sale of each ticket to be individually recorded. Cash sales made prior to the event can be recorded, as well as event sales charged to the purchaser’s bidder number. Built-in reports greatly simplify reporting of raffle activities to local raffle licensing agencies.
 
   
  September 2002  ::  AuctionBase Version 1.0 Released
AuctionBase
v1.0 is developed for use by Holy Trinity School in Beaverton, Oregon.  AuctionBase automates the data organization tasks required for running a charity auction. It tracks donations, packaging, event attendance, bidders, and sales.  It also provides all necessary event documents including bid sheets, gift certificates, displays, catalog listings and data reports.  Unlike other benefit auction software, AuctionBase allows multiple events to be tracked at once.
