Ticket Sales and Event Seating
Keeping track of your guests' seating groups, ticket options, and entree choices
can be a daunting job. AuctionBase makes these event management
chores painless. As you sell tickets to your event, AuctionBase lets
you assign people to named seating groups. The form below shows the
Boyd group. Initially, you don't have to assign a table number to
them at all. This can be done right before the event, when you have
your table layout, and know right where you want each group.
Beaver Creek School sold two kinds of tickets: one for the silent
auction only, and another for all auctions (silent and live) and
dinner. In addition, a choice of fish or beef was given for
dinner. Everyone in the Boyd group got tickets for the auctions and
dinner. Each person's choice of entree' is shown.

When you get close to the day of your event, you'll want to make up
your bid paddles and other bidder materials. Once you've assigned
your groups to tables, AuctionBase lets you assign bidder numbers to
all your guests with one click.
AuctionBase also lets you keep track of which people
have paid for their tickets. You will often have people buy tickets
and request to sit with others who haven't yet bought theirs. This
feature lets you enter those people, effectively holding a place at
the table for them, without actually giving them tickets. On
the chance that they neglect to pay for their tickets before the
event, they can be charged on their receipt when they checkout.
