Tracking Donations to Your Event
As you begin your event planning, use AuctionBase to print donation
receipts, customized to your event. These receipts contain spaces for
all the donation data you may wish to record.

Using the form below, you can look over the donations from your
previous events, and simply copy the ones that will be donated
again. If you had donations left over from your past events,
you can use the same form to reassign them to the current event.
With AuctionBase, you'll never have to re-enter a past donation
again!

As donations come in, record them in
AuctionBase. As you can see below, the item's value,
donor, and the solicitor who brought in the donation can all be
recorded. You can also
categorize donations, making it easy to check on the mix of items
you have on hand. Items can also be assigned to special projects, keeping
them grouped together for easier packaging later. You can keep track of where an item is
stored, or if it still needs to be delivered or picked up. If
the item needs a gift certificate made, you can specify special
wording here as well.

In addition, you can specify special conditions and expirations that
are used when printing gift certificates for items that need them,
but did not come with one.
The gift certificates themselves are easily printed at any time.
A simple example is shown below. They look especially good on fancy papers.
