Customizable Reports for All Your Data
While the most commonly used reports are already defined for you,
AuctionBase gives you a lot of control over how your reports
will look, and what data they will include. The picture below shows
the reports form for donations' data. On the far right
is the list of saved reports. Those shown are already defined for
you. If you want one of these printed, simply highlight it in the
list, and click 'Show Report'.
Across the top of the form are the
ways in which you can sort
the data on the report. In the example, 'By Category' is selected, so the report
AuctionBase generates will show donations grouped by and sorted by
their category. As you can see, you can also print reports grouped
and sorted by Donor, Solicitor, Donor Affiliation, Project Tag,
Storage Location, or Donation Date.
The 'Select Fields To Include' tab shows all the data fields
available on a donations report. Only boxes with a check will be
included on the report.

The 'Filter Report Content' tab allows you to filter the data that
is returned. For example, the filter below will print a report
where only items
marked for pick up will be displayed.

The 'Set Misc. Report Options' tab lets you set other options for
the report, like a descriptive subtitle to be displayed. By
selecting 'Summary Report', only the major grouping headings and
their totals are shown.
