Entertainment
Many groups
choose to
include
entertainment at
their event.
This can be
recorded music,
a pianist, a
full band, a
wandering
balloon clown,
or a choir
singing. Nearly
anything that
fits your group,
theme, mood, and
schedule could
be planned.
If you decide to
provide
entertainment,
be sure to okay
it with your
venue before
booking. Many
venues have
limits on what
is appropriate
for their
facilities. Once
that is done,
book or
otherwise
arrange for your
entertainment
early. You don’t
want to miss out
by putting this
off.
Most
importantly,
don’t plan
anything that
will overpower
your event. You
want your guests
to have a good
time, but you
really want
their focus to
be on the items
you are selling.
If your
entertainment is
so compelling
that your guests
spend all their
time watching
it, you’ll end
up short
changing
yourself on item
bids.
